Juneteenth Parade 2021

Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day, became a federal holiday on June 17th, 2021 although it has been celebrated since 1865.
Thank you to our members, volunteers, and leaders from the Branch, and other community organizations for being a part of this historical parade to celebrate such a significant holiday!
Thank you to Tony G’s Soul Food for allowing the Branch to use their vehicle in the parade.
A Special thanks to Vice President Aubry Lewis for driving the bus, David Sherman and Ike Jones for organizing the branch’s members, and Shannon Young and the Young Adult committee’s participation!
